Wisdom Therapies was set up in 2005 by me, Dominic Games, to provide a range of Person Centred Services to individuals and Businesses.

I am a qualified counsellor, psychology graduate and Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work on a part time voluntary basis as a counsellor for a major local mental health organisation. I also provide counselling services for a local disability charity.

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing and have 16 years experience of working in public sector housing, specialising in Housing Advice, Welfare Rights Law, Debt Advice and Supported Housing.

The style I use for all my work is Person Centred, following the principles of respect for the individual, honesty, empathy and non-judgementalism. I do, however, draw from all schools of counselling in both my philosophy and practice, this is often called an Integrative approach.

I believe that whether a personal situation, business setting, team environment or family dynamic much can be achieved by listening to and valuing the individual. By providing support and facilitating self development, I believe that much can be done to enhance one�s life, happiness or business performance.
